Meet Dr. Erin Knierim

I feel very privileged to have such a fun and rewarding career in pediatric dentistry. Kids are the most funny, interesting and honest people. I look forward to helping my patients have a positive experience so they develop a good attitude towards dental visits and maintaining their oral health.

I am originally from the small town of Puyallup, Washington, not too far from Seattle. I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to attend dental school. There I met my husband, Kevin, and I decided to make Northwest Ohio my home. Kevin and I have two children, Ben and Kate, and a Yorkshire terrier, Chief. When I'm not working or chasing after my very active children, I enjoy baking, exercising and traveling to Seattle to visit friends and family.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from

Seattle University and my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University. After dental school I completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at University of Toledo Medical Center. I practiced general dentistry for 3 years before choosing to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at UTMC, where I earned a Master of Science degree and my Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.

Continuing Education

I look forward to attending the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry annual sessions to further my education so that I can provide the best treatment for your child.
